Zoggs Torquay Womens Legsuit : Very comfortable

As a woman in her late 60s i am conscious that my body is not like it was 30 years ago. I am in reasonable shape but prefer to keep the tops of my thighs hidden. This costume does that perfectly, helps to flatten my tummy and generally holds everything togetin place.I had a similar one before from the same manufacturer and have used it frequently over two years and it has lasted really well.

You have to be the right shape to wear it. This is without a doubt a very nice swimsuit. However, it is only going to fit properly if you are curvy in the hips. If you’re more of an apple shape, like me, then it will not fit properly at all.

Just didn’t like the gusset going left to right rather than front. Lovely costume, just didn’t like the gusset going left to right rather than front to back. Here are the specifications for the Zoggs Torquay Womens Legsuit:

Very comfortable and sturdy swimsuit. A very comfortable legsuit that doesn’t budge when you’re swimming or doing aquagym – no pulling, tugging or messing about. Bear in mind that the zoggs proprietary fabric is very thick and sturdy and quite inelastic, compared with the thinner, stretchier fabrics offered by speedo – it would probably be a great costume for wild water swimming, kayaking etc. I’m 37, 31, 39 and bought a 12 and it’s perfect. Very pleased with this – they should offer it in more colours.

I haven’t worn the costume in the water yet since purchasing it, here’s hoping that it performs as well as the previous zoggs legsuit. The fit is comfortable and the shortie legs are a good length, i ordered my normal size, size 12 and was concerned that it may be a little tight, however, it fits very well.

Looks just like it does in the picture. Would recommend buying to any one that is looking for that extra length in a swimming costume.

As another review stated it is not flattering for the apple shaped but it is comfortable and holds in a large chest which makes swimming easier. The legs ride up very slightly but not enough to be uncomfortable. I swim in the sea rather than in a swimming pool so cannot comment on whether the chlorine resistant fabric works. Overall i am very pleased with it.

  1. Well made and comfortable once on, the only small issue is the lack of give around the neck part which is a little bit tight to get on and off. I’m normally a 16 and that’s what i bought so fitting/sizing is correct.

    1. I’m a lady if a certain age who doesn’t really want to show off all her bits. This does a good job of covering you up, without being too old fashioned. Really happy with this product.

    Good product but go a size smaller. Excellent product but unfortunately just slightly too big. I usually take a size 14 in zooms swimsuit but a 12 would be a better fit.

    I needed this for aqua aerobic and it fitted perfectly. The color was nice and the meterial was good. I would buy more colors if they had.

      1. I bought this for a friend who was always admiring my zoggs swimsuit and tired of constantly replacing her chlorine-destroyed ones. She loves hers as much as i love mine. I’ve worn mine for a year with no sign of fading or chlorine damage.

    This is a costume that allows for minimum prep before going swimming. It covers top of legs without being fuddy duddy.Recommended for anyone who worries about bikini lines in high leg swimsuits. Thank you for this great swimsuit, i love the colour too.
