Bought as a replacement for my previous one of the same style which had eventually succombed due to overusethis swimsuit is very supportive and comfortable to wear and perfect if you want to actually swim rather than just look pretty on the beach/poolside. I have had other maternity swimsuits that were completely impracticle for swimming but this one is great and i would highly recommend it.

Just as expected and delivered on time. Here are the specifications for the Emma Jane Womens Maternity Swim cross back swimsuit:

  • The fully lined, Maternity Swim cross back swimsuit by Emma Jane has ruched sides to allow for body changes during pregnancy
  • It features twin straps that cross at the back and has an elasticated bra shelf for comfort and support
  • 80% Polyamide, 20% Elastane

Bought a size up to usual based on other comments. Good fit generally, higher leg than i like really, probably should of bought 2 sizes up from usual for comfort later – currently 24 weeks.

Bought this swim suit at 34 weeks pregnant. I bought a size up from my normal size but i’m 5ft 10 so thought i’d be on the safe side. The extra support for my ever increasing breasts is only ok. It would be my only fault with the suit. The support piece is not particularly comfortable but once in the water and swimming i don’t take much notice. Overall, a good fit and comfortable and great value for money.

I am very happy with this swimsuit. I am very happy with this swimsuit. This is my third pregnancy and second purchase. I have swam a lot through all pregnancies and take my two boys to swimming lessons every week so i know it lasts well. Advise hand washing for longer lifespan. I am short, curvy and big busted and found this swimsuit to be a great fit and good support. I normally go for fitted busts but found this to be more comfortable during pregnancy.

  1. Nice costume- watch the size you order. Great maternity costume, now i can finally go to the pool. Only thing is make sure you order a size or 2 sizes bigger than your prepregnancy size, as i ordered size 12 in case and it’s a good job i did as a 10 wouldn’t be comfy around my bump and it still may get tight in the last month.

    I bought this 10 weeks ago and it fit beautifully. There is plenty of room for stretching as. I bought this 10 weeks ago and it fit beautifully. There is plenty of room for stretching as the bump grow and now i’m 33 weeks and it still fits perfectly. I think it will be fine all the way to the end of pregnancy. Very pleased with the product and would definitely recommend it.

    1. Very comfortable and does the job. Very comfortable and does the job, a bit to big as i am normally a size 8 and they do not do it on a size 8 but i would recommend it. It fits well and it looks good on.

    The fit is great with a bit of room for me to grow and is comfortable for swimming lengths. I have also found the breast support very good. A good product which i recommend.

Chest area becomes rather flat as there is no extra support and i look like a ball, but it serves the purpose. Suppose it is a nice one to get a bit earlier in your pregnancy and then slowly grow into it.

    1. I must say, i was so disheartened that i couldn’t find anything suitable. Took a risk of buying without trying and it proved ideal. I did opt for 2 sizes bigger following other reviews and it snuggles my bump perfectly, with space for more “expanding” :-). Also, very classic cut makes you look normal and comfortable. Extra breast support also works (even when very supple in that area :).
